Here is a timelapse video made by a fellow Greek for the sky over his birth city. The name of the photographer: Konstantinos Vasilakakos. The place: Petrilo, Karditsa, Greece.
What an amazing project!
Konstantinos has been working on the time-lapse project since the end of May. He walked may kilometers at the village of Petrilo in order to be able to catch the most clear and dark skies along the Milky Way.
Konstantinos was determined to achieve a great result, thus he spent manyu nights outside in the mountains with no sleep. He sat outside coverd with a goatwool blanket and gaze the night sky while his camera was capturing the night sky.
He believed that this is his best night sky work so far. As he says “the best part of that is that I found my self to be part of the night sky and finally I manage to realize that the best part of life is to live in the mountains under the night sky.”
Totally amazing view and work and thus we love to share it!
